⭕What is a wormhole?
Wormholes are one of the most important concepts in modern astronomy and space science. Although no practical method or way to create one has yet been discovered, many scientists argue that they can be created. Simply put, a wormhole is defined as a tube-shaped path that can travel through time or space. Let's say there are two openings on either side of such a tube, A and B. If you enter the tube through opening A, you can exit through opening B to another place in the universe or a parallel universe that is a hundred or a thousand light years away from opening A. Or, opening B can also be located in the same place as opening A, and then you exit opening B to the same past or future as you entered opening A! In other words, when you travel through a wormhole, you have crossed space or time.
A movie that many people have watched is called Interstellar. Interstellar, which won 45 awards, including an Oscar, is another unique creation from Christopher Nolan, who directed masterpieces such as Inception and The Dark Knight trilogy. The film, which was released in 2014 and grossed more than 670 million US dollars, starred Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway.
⭕ You will understand that the wormhole in this film is designed to travel through space. However, wormholes and black holes should not be confused. A black hole is a type of natural celestial object that actually exists, while a wormhole is a conceptual celestial object that is not natural and can be created artificially.
