Netflix has officially announced that the third and final season of the South Korean dystopian thriller "Squid Game" is expected to come out on June 27, 2025-a mere six months after the release of the second season on December 26, 2024. The delay between the seasons is because of consecutive production schedules from July 2023 to June 2024.
Show creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has officially confirmed Season 3 will conclude Seong Gi-hun's story-credited to Lee Jung-jae. The season is further expected to delve into Gi-hun's transformation and provide closure on The Front Man, as played by Lee Byung-hun.
